# Authentication

> Authentication is required to use the Dataglade API. You can pass your API key in the header of your requests.

### Get an API key

Authentication is required for all API requests. You can obtain an API key by [contacting us](mailto:sales@dataglade.com).

### Make a request

To authenticate your requests, pass your API key as a Bearer token in the `Authorization` header.
